CurlFriend|| Dark & Lovely Moisture L.O.C Line

Hey Love Bugs!!! This is a review and demo on the new line by Dark and Lovely. The Moisture L.O.C Line is a one stop shop for the LOC method that us naturalistas have coined.

The L.O.C. method is a staple in many naturalists hair care regime. The L.O.C. method is for Leave-In or Liquid, Oil, and Creme/Cream.


Dark and Lovely Au-Naturale-Moisture-L-O-C SULFATE-FREE SHAMPOIL: The shampoo was truly rich in lather and wasn't stripping. I found that this shampoo was very rich and got all of the product buildup off from the weeks prior.


Dark and Lovely Au-Naturale-Moisture-L-O-C DEEP CONDITIONING DELIGHT: The deep conditioner has a WONDERFUL smell. It's great for detangling and is good for different hair porosities. I personally didn't feel as though it was very penetrating to my hair and my porosity levels are normal. I have a preference as well as far as deep condition so I could be a bit bias. 

Dark and Lovely Au-Naturale-Moisture-L-O-C SUPER QUENCH-LEAVE IN SPRAY: This leave in is very light weight! I was spraying for days and there was no dripping all over me. There was no hair stuck to my head. It was just pure and utter delightfulness as you can tell from my reaction in the video. 

Dark and Lovely Au-Naturale-Moisture-L-O-C SOAK IT UP OIL COCKTAIL: This oil is a lightweight great oil. I found and find this oil to have sealed in all the moisture given by the leave in and the cream after I put it in.


Dark and Lovely Au-Naturale-Moisture-L-O-C LOCK-IT-IN SEALING CREAM: This cream was very light weight. With me having to run it through my hair I didn't find it as defining as some of the other creams. This cream is very moisturizing. 

All in all I enjoyed the line and the oil is going to be in heavy rotation for me!

Eyebrows on Fleek ft/ Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade in Dark Brown

Hey Love Bugs!!!

Yeah that's what I call people I love so.. well now it's your name too lol
Well anyways as we all know I love makeup and am very good at it. No eyebrows are the same nor will they ever be. You can try and make them symmetrical but don't kill yourself. Now if one eyebrow looks like a nike mark and the other half the arches of McDonalds... yeah thats not right lol but other than that you get the point.

I personally choose not to go overboard with my eyebrows. I am not here for Instagram brows on myself but I don't knock them either. I think that makeup is about you and what you like. there are things that are complimentary and things that aren't.

Here's a video I recorded at 3am about howI do my brows and my short technique without loads of products.

Again this is just how I like to fill in my brows. You can do what works for you and what you may like. I personally like doing my brows this way and like the way it looks. I had gotten questions on how I use the Anastasia Dibrow Pomade in Dark Brown to do my brows without getting bold brows. I don't knock anyone who likes the look it's just not for me.

So I got a chance to be apart of the small commercial for Amla Legend BlowOut System! I got a chance a few months back to shoot and get a chance to use the products before launching. I loved my results and I loved the line as a whole. To find a line that allowed me to revert back each time it was used, while still getting the Dominican Blow Out effect!

                                        

What is Amla Oil and What Are The Benefits:

So I am going to walk you through the products and also will have a few videos of the process and the pictures. Amla Legend Rejuvenating Ritual products used and my thoughts of each one.

The line was not stripping on my hair. I found that it actually was easy to detangle my hair with the shampoo in it. I loved the smell and the texture of the shampoo.

Optimum Salon Haircare®Amla Legend Rejuvenating Ritual MOISTURE REMEDY CONDITIONER:

The conditioner was also moisturizing and made my hair very moisturized and light. Since my hair was already detangled I didn't get to see if it was able to detangle my hair or how it felt. I will update it when I get the line again to fully review.

Optimum Salon Haircare Amla-Legend-Rejuvenating-Ritual MOISTURE REMEDY Silky Blow Out Masque: 

This masque!!! lets pause real quick.. It was very moisturizing and very penetrating. i found this masque to feel beyond great on my hair. I got to sit with it both times differently. One time I got to sit under a dryer and the other we just let it process so I could get a feel for it. 

The website has yet to have this item, but I will keep you posted when they do. 

Optimum Salon Haircare Amla-Legend-Rejuvenating-Ritual Silkening Oil Mist: 

This oil mist was very light weight and left a nice shine to the hair. As you all see in the top video it just moved very freely and light. It wasn't weighted down by the products at all. 

The website doesn't have this up yet ether, but I will keep you posted.

Process of Writing a Book?!..

Hey guys!!

So I am going to be posting way more content because I want to write a book. I am interested in writing a few books. I love writing and talking, I just started rediscovering the things I used to thoroughly enjoy.

Back story!

Basically, as you all know,  I suffered from very bad depression. My depression set in after years of disappointments. I went through a lot in my life and found myself not having or wanting to do things to get out of my funk. Then after a while I got comfortable and found myself struggling to not have these negative thoughts. I was negative when it came to my life but positive about everyone else's.  It was crazy! How do you go from being this happy person who expressed themselves freely to wanting to die? I have a small bad habit that I am trying to fix, which is me always feeling like I am bothering people. So I decided last year to do all the things I used to do and kind of rekindle the spark. Lets just say I am pleasantly pleased by it.

Fast Forward!

Now here I am rearing 25 years of age in March, Yikes getting old! and I am nowhere near where I thought I would be. Normally that would make me sad but it hasn't. I am going to get to where I need to be because I have not only set forth motion but I am actually happy. I am happy and not complacent. Complacency makes you think life passes you by in my opinion. I will be uploading my videos to my blog site so you can take this journey with me!

But I am in the process of writing book and whatever I learn I will share for those aspiring for the same thing.
